The Certified Volunteer Fire Fighter Module courses prepare the student for the Volunteer Fire Fighter State Certification Examination. The course is highly structured to provide academic information through a series of lectures and demonstrations augmented with visual aids. Practical skills are developed with a specified degree of proficiency through selected manipulative evolutions. Specific subject topics covered in Volunteer Fire Fighter Module II include: Portable Fire Extinguishers, Ropes and Knots, Ground Ladders, Forcible Entry, and Structural Search and Rescue. This course is recommended for all Volunteer Fire Fighters.
